Preparation.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Roll out the sheet of puff pastry dough on a flat surface to about 12 inches square.
Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to cut the sheet in three equal parts in one direction.
Spread Nocilla all over the puff pastry sheet.
Roll each strip all and place them on a baking sheet. Use a silicone mat or oven paper if you have it.
Beat the egg and lightly brush each roll with beaten egg.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden. If your rolls are tiny (thin strips) you may have a shorter cooking time. Keep an eye on them!
Sprinkle with cocoa powder or sugar powder if desired.
