Thin Spanish Style Sausage. Chistorra is a very typical sausage of Navarra, as well as Basque Country and Aragon. This type of chorizo is very thin and a bit harder in texture. It is very flavorful and slightly spicy.
Chistorra is made at with a sheep casing, pork, pimentón, and spices that make it a delicious and spicy addition to a variety of dishes. You can have chistorra with egg and potato dishes, and ideal for chistorra a la sidra (a classic and simple preparation of chistorra and cider).
